SINGAPORE - Greenpeace calls them wolves in sheep's clothing. Europe's Transport & Environment campaign group says they pollute three times more than they claim. In Singapore, they may turn out to be another compressed natural gas (CNG) fiasco.
We are talking about plug-in hybrids - hybrid cars which can be charged via an external electrical source. When charged this way, they have an all-electric range of between 30km and 100km.
