SINGAPORE – The M in BMW stands for “motor”, so let’s start with examining the powertrain in the German brand’s newest electric compact sport utility vehicle (SUV) coupe.
The BMW iX2 is an electric vehicle (EV) with a power output of 110kW, qualifying it for the Category A certificate of entitlement (COE). It is no sports car, but on-ramps and stop lights in Singapore pose little challenge. Meaningful shove remains accessible even at highway overtaking speed.
