SINGAPORE - The driver's door panel creaks. That is my first impression as I set off in the updated 249hp Audi A5 Sportback - a beefier version of the same car reviewed last October.

I am reminded of that each time I rest my elbow on the window ledge. Yes, it is not the ideal driving posture, but I cannot help but relax in such a comfortable and effortless car. That is my second impression.
