SINGAPORE – The China-made Aion ES is a four-door electric vehicle (EV) that is bigger than a Toyota Corolla Altis and undercuts the popular 1.6-litre family car’s price by as much as $28,000.
Headline-grabbing prices usually come with conditions. In this case, the Aion’s low price applies if the buyer is willing to wait up to four months for the seller to secure the certificate of entitlement (COE).
