SINGAPORE - By conventional standards, a car like the Audi e-tron S Sportback is an overkill.
The full-sized electric crossover has three motors - a 150kW unit powering the front wheels and two 132kW units driving the rear. Together, they are tuned to produce a peak output of 370kW and 973Nm, with a healthy reserve for exigencies such as torque vectoring.
