SINGAPORE - I love the quick acceleration and quiet performance of electric motorcycles. But like some owners of electric vehicles, the inconvenience of getting the battery charged puts me off.

While more charging stations are being added to petrol stations and Housing Board estates, the process is still not as hassle-free as charging a mobile phone.
