SINGAPORE – After being overshadowed by sport utility vehicles for nearly three decades, multi-purpose vehicles (MPV) are having a second wind. Commonly equipped with seven seats, these boxy contraptions on wheels are finding fans among limousine companies and consumers alike.
In March, The Straits Times compared two mid-sized combustion models: the Toyota Noah and Honda Step Wgn. This time, we are pitting two full-sized seven-seaters against each other: the electric Xpeng X9 and plug-in hybrid GAC E9.
