Every Saturday, an adorable sight awaits visitors in East Coast Park. Between 5pm and 9pm, some 600 cat-lovers head to an open field with their felines in tow, setting up picnic mats and tents as they let their cats roam free in the grass.

SINGAPORE- In the open space between carparks C4 and D1 at East Coast Park, an adorable sight greets visitors every Saturday evening.

Amid tents and picnic mats are many cats. Some are leashed, padding beside their owners, while others, less cooperative, loaf on the ground and do not budge.
