SINGAPORE – When Ms See Wei Li was diagnosed with asthma at the age of 23, she was surprised. She had been involved in activities such as canoe polo and cheerleading, and did not feel breathless playing sports.
“I thought, ‘how could it be?’ I was in denial for some time,” says the radiation therapist at a public hospital.
