When my alarm goes off in the morning, I often feel like a zombie. Is it really so horrible to snooze it a few times?

In a recent study that used smartphones to track the sleep habits of more than 21,000 adults around the world for six months, researchers observed a perhaps unsurprising trend. After more than half of the recorded nights, participants hit the snooze button an average of 2.4 times before getting up.
