The Marina Coastal Expressway was completed in 2013 and is carefully maintained and monitored every day. With a 420m stretch under the seabed, it is one of the widest underground expressways in South-east Asia.

The Land Transport Authority (LTA), which completed the Marina Coastal Expressway (MCE) in 2013, has put in place safeguards in its underground architecture to anticipate a variety of scenarios.
