Mr Richard Tan founded the Singapore Institute of Landscape Architects with a few like-minded landscape architects in 1983.

Mr Richard Tan, one of Singapore's pioneers in landscape architecture, died on Feb 15, aged 87.
He is survived by his wife, two children and two grandchildren.
