WHO: Mr Fang Low, 32, is the chief executive officer of property developer company Figment, which specialises in creating boutique co-living spaces in restored shophouses.
It manages more than 15 Singapore shophouses which were built around the early 19th century.
After completing his business degree in real-estate finance at New York University, he worked at fine-art auctioneer Christie's as well as at Goldman Sachs Singapore as an investment banker.
He recently earned two master's degrees - in public administration from Harvard University and business administration from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania.
Thanks to the Covid-19 pandemic, I've never had a better understanding of Singapore's neighbourhoods. Why travel to Bangkok or Bali when you can take in heritage vibes at Jalan Besar or Joo Chiat, which you can reach in under 20 minutes via MRT?
