SINGAPORE – Robots that can emote, work as part of a team and understand non-verbal cues will play a bigger role in the workforce in 2023, say companies that have recently developed this next-generation technology.
Robots are already deployed in many sectors – for example, as nursing assistants in healthcare, and baristas in food and beverage. Robotic arms also dish out ingredients at steamboat restaurants.
