SINGAPORE – Lifestyle magnate Wee Teng Wen has always found himself stumped by one question, when friends from out of town visit: “Where do you go to spend a day in Singapore?”

“There’s no one-stop destination for tourists to experience Singapore outside the usual neighbourhoods,” says the 42-year-old founder and managing partner of home-grown hospitality empire The Lo & Behold Group.
