SINGAPORE – While 2023 is officially

the hottest year on record

– no thanks to climate change – green buildings in Singapore rose to meet the challenge of a sustainable future.

In 2023, Singapore’s Building and Construction Authority (BCA) certified four Green Mark Zero Energy (ZE) buildings and 15 Super Low Energy (SLE) buildings. These buildings were a mix of new builds and older buildings which were retrofitted to meet the Green Mark standards.
