SINGAPORE – After the

lacklustre 2024 that fine-dining restaurants had

, you would think the last thing Singapore needs is another upscale establishment.

And yet, at least five fine-dining and upmarket Chinese restaurants have opened or will open in 2025, even as Michelin-starred establishments such as Beni, Braci, La Dame de Pic, Sommer, Sushi Kimura and Tippling Club closed in 2024.
