SINGAPORE – A growing crop of young hawkers are keeping Singapore’s hawker culture alive by reinventing well-loved staples and adding their own whimsical touches. 

Think mala char siew rice, braised pork belly rice topped with creamy mentaiko, and pasta drenched in a lemak chilli padi sauce.
