SINGAPORE – With great ubiquity comes great expectations. The proliferation of artisanal tea and coffee stores means consumers are demanding more from their cuppa than just trendy tricks.
According to Singapore speciality tea brand, The 1872 Clipper Tea Co, change is brewing in the industry. “This is a shift in tea culture, moving away from convenience and instant gratification to a focus on taste, craftsmanship and quality,” says Ms Lydia Lim, the company’s head of brand and marketing.
