SINGAPORE – A slew of halal-certified and Muslim-owned eateries has popped up over the past few months, offering a range of innovative dining options from Taiwan-style hotplate dishes to steak to modern European cuisine.

Some are expanding into the Central Business District – such as pasta restaurant Tipo Strada’s second outlet in Keong Saik and Restaurant Espoir, which serves modern European fare, in Amoy Street.
