SINGAPORE - The current ban on dining in till June 13 sounded the death knell for at least two of Singapore's long-running restaurants.

Rice Table, an Indonesian rijsttafel restaurant in International Building that opened in 1997, shut its doors on May 16, the day phase two (heightened alert) kicked in with rules that restricted eateries to takeaways and delivery.
