SINGAPORE - Hamilton Road in the Jalan Besar-Lavender Street area does not have the hipster vibe of, say, Tiong Bahru or Kampong Glam.
It does not - yet - have the dizzying number of food and beverage businesses like Serangoon Garden or Joo Chiat. Certainly, it does not have the sprawl of these two enclaves.
