A bowl of thunder tea rice or lei cha fan is what I crave when I have indulged too much and too often in rich meals.

This Hakka dish of rice, different and colourful vegetables, fried beancurd, peanuts, preserved radish and - if you are a non-vegetarian like me - fried anchovies, is healthy but not boring. Especially when the green herb tea is made properly.
