SINGAPORE – Home-grown bean-to-bar chocolate boutique Mr Bucket Chocolaterie has come a long way since it started its sweet journey as a small shop in Sin Ming in 2020.
Two years later, it launched its 5,500 sq ft flagship chocolate factory and restaurant in Dempsey, and now runs three stores at Changi Airport’s Terminals 1 and 2 transit areas as well as Terminal 3’s departure hall.
In November, it marked its fifth anniversary and launched a retail store at Takashimaya Shopping Centre.
The new store offers a curated selection of best-selling signatures and festive treats.

Over the past five years, it has stayed true to its mission of championing Asian cacao, working with small and independent cacao farms in Malaysia, India and the Philippines.
All this is showcased in its array of chocolate bon bons, bars, dragees (chocolate-coated nuts or freeze-dried fruit) and gift boxes – now decked in its refreshed colours and playful patterns on the packaging.

Festive flavours will launch on Nov 18, including Blackforest Dragees ($25), Butterscotch and Fruitcake bon bons (from $20 for a box of four), as well as Gingerbread, Peppermint and Panettone chocolate bars ($14 to $16).
For a more personal touch, make your chocolate bar at the counter ($22.90) or Build-Your-Own chocolate Christmas tree ($23).
To commemorate its anniversary, it has re-released flavours (from $18 for a box of four, add 60 cents for premium options, available at Dempsey or online) for a limited time from its local brand collaborations. These include salted egg yolk chocolate bon bons with snack specialist The Golden Duck, gin-infused chocolates with Brass Lion Distillery gin and marmalade-chocolate creations with Straits Preserves.
