SINGAPORE – Amid the usual steel, concrete and glass industrial-style cafes that dot Singapore, a new kind of eatery, themed around escaping city life and going camping outdoors, has sprung up.
Think tents, camping chairs, vintage lamps and food served in mess tins or on skewers. One of these eateries opens only for dinner and supper, in a bid to offer the starry night experience.
