US singer-songwriter Lady Gaga was here on 7 July 2011, to perform a showcase at Marina Bay Sands (MBS) for SingTel’s music download service AMPed.

Reporters at Lady Gaga's press conference in Singapore in 2011 were prevented from asking her about the unauthorised use of her song for that year's National Day Parade.
