LOS ANGELES - Spider-Man star Andrew Garfield is up for an Emmy for his role in Under The Banner Of Heaven - a controversial true-crime drama that has upset some members of the Mormon Church, from whom its creator said he expected to receive both social-media criticism and death threats.
Now streaming on Disney+, the limited series is based on a sensational 1984 murder case that took place within a highly religious Mormon community in Utah.
