SINGAPORE – Voters who want to catch general election coverage with others can head to The Projector on Polling Day.
Singaporeans go to the polls on May 3, with polling hours from 8am to 8pm.
The independent cinema announced on social media on May 1 that it will live-stream election coverage at Cineleisure’s foyer on May 3 from 7pm. Entry is free.
“We especially invite all residents from Marine Parade-Braddell Heights GRC to join us,” it wrote cheekily. The group representation constituency saw a walkover on Nomination Day on April 23.
The Projector will have its own “election” on May 3. It invites guests to cast a vote for either DC Comics superhero The Flash or Marvel Comics superhero Thor with a sticker, which they can get with every drink purchase.
A cinema outing would perhaps be incomplete without some snacks. “Try our gourmet hot dogs and pizzas,” The Projector wrote.
