SINGAPORE - Exposed to American rap as a teenager, Taiwanese rapper Eddie Chen later chanced upon a number by Taiwanese rap act MC HotDog, which sparked an interest in Chinese hip-hop.

In 2020, the 34-year-old released his first solo album Outta Body, which got him nominated for Best Male Mandarin Singer at the Golden Melody Awards.
