Taiwanese band Sodagreen will hold the only South-east Asian stop of their 20th anniversary concert tour in Singapore on March 8.

SINGAPORE – Famed Taiwanese band Sodagreen will be marking their 20th anniversary with a concert in Singapore.
The sextet, which formed in 2001 but made their official debut in 2004, will perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on March 8. This will be the tour’s only stop in South-east Asia.
Tickets priced from $168 to $328 will go on general sale on Dec 11 at noon via Ticketmaster. There will be two rounds of pre-sales. Mastercard cardholders can access a priority sale from Dec 9, noon, to Dec 10, 10am. For more details, go to www.priceless.com/music
There will also be a pre-sale for concert organiser Live Nation members on Dec 10, from noon to midnight.
Led by frontman Wu Ching-feng, who has a distinctive high-pitched voice, Sodagreen are known for ballads like Little Love Song (2006), Incomparable Beauty (2007) and What’s The Trouble On Your Mind (2011). They have won Best Band at Taiwan’s prestigious Golden Melody awards thrice – in 2007, 2008 and 2016.
Wu is also an accomplished solo singer-songwriter. He was named Best Mandarin Male Singer at the awards in 2020, and won Album of the Year in 2023 for Mallarme’s Tuesdays (2022).
At one time, Sodagreen were known as Oaeen because they were caught in a copyright and trademark dispute with their former mentor and record label boss Will Lin, who helped propel the indie band to mainstream fame. Lin lost the copyright case in 2021 and gave up the Sodagreen trademark in 2022.
Their 20th anniversary concert tour already has 25 sold-out shows across 12 cities, with stops in Hong Kong, Beijing, Wuhan and more in 2024. They will kick off 2025 by playing two shows at Taipei Arena in February before coming to Singapore, and move on to Sydney, Melbourne, London, Berlin and Tokyo.
