SINGAPORE - It has been more than 15 years since host and actor Jeremy Chan took part in the second season of singing competition Project Superstar (2006 to 2007), before signing on as a full-time Mediacorp artiste.

But this year marks the first time he has been nominated for a Star Award - the broadcaster's yearly ceremony to reward the best of local television - which will take place on April 24.
