SINGAPORE – Grammy-winning Canadian singer-songwriter Daniel Caesar is returning to Singapore, this time for his biggest show here yet.
The Toronto-born artiste will perform at the Singapore Indoor Stadium on May 16 as part of the Son Of Spergy Tour, a 30-date arena run that spans Asia and North America. Ticket pre-sales start on April 13, while general tickets go on sale on April 14.
The tour marks Caesar’s first major arena outing and includes regional dates in Kuala Lumpur, Jakarta and Bangkok.
He last performed here at The Star Theatre in 2023 as part of his Superpowers World Tour. His first concerts in Singapore were a three-night run at the now-defunct The Pavilion at Far East Square in 2018, part of his Freudian Tour.
The 30-year-old is famed for Best Part, the soulful ballad with American singer H.E.R. which won Best R&B Performance at the 2019 Grammy Awards; and Get You, which featured American singer Kali Uchis. Both songs, from his debut album Freudian (2017), went to No. 1 on Billboard’s Adult R&B chart.
He also sang on Canadian pop star Justin Bieber’s 2021 hit Peaches with American singer Giveon, a No. 1 hit on US Billboard’s singles charts.
Caesar’s current tour is named after his fourth album Son Of Spergy, released in late 2025. It debuted at No. 4 on Billboard’s main album chart and topped the Billboard R&B album chart.
Recorded mainly in Jamaica, Son Of Spergy earned him two prizes – Best Contemporary R&B Recording and Songwriter of the Year – at the 2026 Juno Awards, the Canadian equivalent of the Grammys.
