SINGAPORE – Probably the oldest musician in Singapore still actively gigging, singer, drummer and percussionist Louis Soliano is showing no signs of slowing down.

Hailed as Singapore’s godfather of jazz, the Cultural Medallion recipient is set to celebrate his 80th birthday with a headlining concert at Capitol Theatre on Friday. He will also be receiving the Jass Lifetime Achievement Award from the Jazz Association Singapore (Jass).
