Canadian pop-punk band Simple Plan last performed in Singapore in 2023.

SINGAPORE - Canadian pop-punk veterans Simple Plan are returning to Singapore on Nov 22, and for the first time, they will be playing the Singapore Indoor Stadium.
The concert is part of their global Bigger Than You Think! Tour, which also includes Asian cities such as Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and Manila, the Philippines.
The upcoming show, their sixth here, is a significant step up from their previous appearances which have taken place at smaller venues. Their last performance in 2023 was at The Coliseum at Resorts World Sentosa.
The band first played in Singapore at Suntec City in 2005 and their subsequent gigs here included music festival SingFest 2008 at Fort Canning Park and another headlining show at The Coliseum in 2016.
Simple Plan - comprising singer Pierre Bouvier, 46, drummer Chuck Comeau, 46, and guitarists Jeff Stinco, 50, and Sebastien Lefebvre, 44 - are celebrating their 25th year together, and the tour is designed to reflect that milestone.
“We’re celebrating our 25th anniversary as a band, so these shows will be very special,” the group said in a statement about their return to South-east Asia. “Our set lists will feature all our biggest songs from every era of our career, a ton of fan favourites and songs we rarely get to play live.”
Simple Plan released their debut album No Pads, No Helmets... Just Balls in 2002 and their sixth and most recent album, Harder Than It Looks, in 2022.
Their catalogue has racked up over 10 billion streams across various platforms, from early anthems such as I’d Do Anything and Perfect from their first album to later hits like Welcome To My Life from 2004 album Still Not Getting Any... and Summer Paradise from 2011 album Get Your Heart On!.
