Singapore band Welcome To The Machine is staging their most extensive shows to date by bringing to life one of rock’s most iconic concept albums.

They will perform songs from The Wall, the famous 1979 album by British outfit Pink Floyd, which is a sprawling rock opera that explores themes such as isolation, rebellion and catharsis.

The two-night show at Singtel Waterfront Theatre at the Esplanade will feature over 20 musicians, as well as a 10-piece orchestra onstage. Each show will last 150 minutes.

True to Pink Floyd’s imagery, the theatre-like performance will also be accompanied by animated projections, immersive lighting and stage design crafted by experiential design and production lab Mischief Makers.

Formed in 2012, Welcome To The Machine have made a name for themselves not just in Singapore, but also across the region, with their faithful live recreations of Pink Floyd songs.

From Sept 1, ticket buyers can make their purchases using SG Culture Pass credits.
