GrooveDriver Festival 2025

GrooveDriver Festival, which started here in 2024, is back as a four-day music festival from Sept 26 to 28, and on Oct 2.

The main events are happening on Sept 27, when international and K-pop acts will perform at Suntec City’s Plaza Stage from 4 to 10.30pm. British singer-songwriter Henry Moodie and South Korean singer Gemini will make their Singapore debut. South Korean singer-songwriters Shaun and Yuju, as well as local artistes Regina Song and WhyLucas, will also take the stage.

Over at Sky Garden Stage at South Beach Tower, Level 11, expect electronic music from an all-female DJ line-up from 6pm to 2am. They include Japan’s Licaxxx, Taiwan’s Molly Lin, India’s Anushka, Britain’s Norsicaa, South Korea’s Sooyeon, as well as Singapore’s Kylie Nicole, Debbie Chia, Miss Lil and Tashasan.

Aside from the paid events above, there will be free ones, such as a Trackmania e-sports showcase at Suntec City Atrium (Towers 1 and 2) from Sept 26 to 28, a Retro Rendez-Vous flea market featuring retro collectibles at Millenia Walk on Sept 27 and 28, and an Avex music night at Suntec City’s Plaza Stage on Oct 2.

Jam Off 2025 Singapore

South Korean singer Rain will perform on both nights of Jam Off 2025 Singapore on Sept 27 and 28.

There will be plenty to delight Mandopop, Cantopop and K-pop fans at this two-day festival at Universal Studios Singapore. It is part of the Grand Prix Season Singapore 2025 from Sept 26 to Oct 5, which complements the Singapore Grand Prix with race-themed festivities that spotlight the city’s attractions, dining experiences, and entertainment and retail scene.

Day 1 will see a 30-minute opening DJ act at 7.30pm, followed by a 40-minute set by Hong Kong singer JC. At 8.40pm, fellow Hong Kong singer Hins Cheung will perform for 40 minutes, followed by South Korean singer Rain, who will take the stage for also 40 minutes.

Day 2 will feature another opening DJ act, this time lasting 40 minutes, together with a performance by five-piece Hong Kong band Nowhere Boys at 7.30pm. At 8.10pm, Hong Kong actor-singer Ekin Cheng will come on for 30 minutes, followed by Hong Kong singer Stephy Tang in her Singapore debut, for 40 minutes. Rain will round up the night with a 40-minute set starting at 9.20pm.

Pete Davidson In Singapore

American comedian-actor Pete Davidson is known for his self-deprecating sense of humour.

American comedian-actor Pete Davidson will stage his first stand-up comedy show in Singapore on Sept 26 at The Star Theatre.

From 2014 to 2022, he was among the youngest performers on US sketch comedy variety series Saturday Night Live (1975 to present), where he made jokes about relationships, his family and Fox News.

Known for his self-deprecating sense of humour, he is the creator, executive producer, writer and star of comedy series Bupkis (2023), which was inspired by his own life. He also co-scripted and acted in the semi-autobiographical comedy-drama film The King Of Staten Island (2020).

He is currently shooting the heist film How To Rob A Bank, set to be released in 2026.
