One Love Asia Festival Singapore 2024

After its first two editions here in 2022 and 2023, the two-day One Love Asia Festival is back again on Oct 19 and 20. While previous iterations of the music festival were held at Bayfront Event Space, this year’s edition has moved to the Padang.

Oct 19 will see performances by headliner Wang Leehom, as well as singers Dark Wong, Janice Yan and Joey Yung, rapper J.M3 and boy bands Bestards and W0LF(S).

On Oct 20, fans will get to see Mandopop star Joker Xue, whose Extraterrestrial World Tour will be returning to Singapore for an encore show on Feb 15, 2025 at the National Stadium, after three sold-out concerts at the Singapore Indoor Stadium earlier in January. Other acts on the second night of One Love Asia Festival include Kit Chan, Harlem Yu, Yisa Yu, MJ116 and Tin Box Band.

2024 Lee Youngji World Tour All Or Nothing In Singapore

South Korean rapper Lee Young-ji has released her debut EP 16 Fantasy since her last performance in Singapore in 2023.

If you missed Lee Young-ji’s first Singapore show at Capitol Theatre in 2023, here is another chance to catch the South Korean rapper in the flesh.

Known for her bold and assertive style, as well as her husky vocals, she will bring her first world tour to the same venue on Oct 19.

Since her last time here, she has released her six-track debut EP 16 Fantasy in June.

The most successful track on the work has been R&B number Small Girl, which has been played on Spotify more than 37 million times. It expresses the 1.75m-tall star’s jealousy of shorter women with petite frames and is a collaboration with K-pop singer Doh Kyung-soo.

Big Time Rush In Singapore

American boy band Big Time Rush are slated to perform their first concert in Singapore on Oct 21. The quartet consist of Logan Henderson, James Maslow, Kendall Schmidt and Carlos PenaVega.

Formed in 2009, the band’s roots can be traced to a Nickelodeon television series of the same name, in which the members played fictional versions of themselves in Hollywood. This musical sitcom ran for four seasons, from 2009 to 2013.

On the music front, the group have released four studio albums. Their most famous song is the catchy teen pop number Boyfriend (2011), which also features rap verses by American rapper Snoop Dogg. In 2018, the earworm was ranked 97th on Billboard’s list of 100 Greatest Boy Band Songs Of All Time.
