The 20th edition of ChildAid is happening on Nov 29 and 30. The annual charity concert, which raises funds for The Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund and The Business Times Budding Artists Fund, is organised by The Straits Times and The Business Times.

Led by co-creative director and local singer-songwriter Amni Musfirah, scriptwriter and director Krish Natarajan, and co-creative and multimedia director Joshua Quek, the show stars 83 talented performers aged between six and 19.

This year’s event will also see the return of several ChildAid alumni, such as 17-year-old pianist Jessie Meng, who was awarded the Young Steinway Artist in January by German-American piano company Steinway & Sons; guitarist Alex Hooi, 22, who performed in ChildAid 2019 and co-arranged songs in the 2022 edition; as well as R&B and pop singer Syah Riszuan, 19.
