Music stars Rihanna and A$AP Rocky welcome their third child, a girl named Rocki

Barbadian pop star and beauty entrepreneur Rihanna is now a mother of three.

The 37-year-old singer, whose partner is American rapper A$AP Rocky, 36, posted on social media on Sept 24 a photo showing her carrying their newborn daughter.

“Rocki Irish Mayers. Sept 13, 2025,” Rihanna wrote, revealing the baby’s name and date of birth.

The founder of cosmetics brand Fenty Beauty also shared a photo of what looked like a pair of baby boxing gloves with long ribbons, possibly a nod to her daughter’s name and Hollywood boxing film franchise Rocky (1976 to present).

The celebrity couple also share two sons – RZA, three, and Riot, two.

Rihanna, who voiced the leading role of Smurfette in the live-action animated musical film Smurfs (2025), revealed her third pregnancy at the Met Gala in May. She attended the fashion fund-raiser sporting a wide-brimmed black hat and a striped, corseted bodice that hugged her baby bump.

A$AP Rocky, whose real name is Rakim Mayers, in an interview with the latest edition of Elle magazine addressed persistent rumours that he and Rihanna might have married in secret.

When asked if he was looking forward to being a husband, he replied: “How you know I’m not already a husband?” – before clarifying with a laugh, “I’m still not gonna confirm it.”

Rihanna told British Vogue in 2020 that children were part of her 10-year plan.

“I’ll have kids – three or four of ’em,” she told the fashion magazine then. “The only thing that matters is happiness, that’s the only healthy relationship between a parent and a child. That’s the only thing that can raise a child truly, is love.”
