If you missed out on tickets to watch singer-songwriter Benjamin Kheng perform at the National Day Parade (NDP), you still have a chance to see him sing at the Singapore Sports Hub’s Majulah Music Hub concert.
Kheng, who sings the 2024 NDP theme song Not Alone, is one of various home-grown musicians in the line-up. They include vocal group MICappella, known for Evolution Of NDP Songs, their popular a cappella mash-up of past NDP themes.
The concert also features vocal group The Island Voices, who were one of the acts involved in NDP theme songs Stronger Together (2022) and Shine Your Light (2023), and whose latest single, Song For Singapore, Home, is a medley of two past NDP theme songs.
The other acts are Mandopop singers Ben Hum, Kelvin Tan Wei Lian and Tay Kewei.
The concert is part of Kallang Alive Sport Management and Sport Singapore’s Majulah Fiesta 2024, which includes activities such as the AL!VE Artisans Market, featuring crafts by home-grown makers at the Visitors Centre until Aug 11, and the Majulah Fiesta Pets Play Day (Feathers Edition) at OCBC Square on Aug 11.

Singapore National Day Celebration with Dick Lee & Friends featuring Kit Chan
Singaporean singer-composer Dick Lee will headline Resorts World Sentosa’s National Day concert.

This National Day-themed concert is led by the two artistes behind one of Singapore’s most beloved NDP theme songs, Home (1998) – composer Dick Lee and singer Kit Chan.
Lee also composed NDP theme songs We Will Get There (2002) and Our Singapore (2015 and 2019 remake), while Chan also performed There’s No Place I’d Rather Be (2007).
Lee will be accompanied by his band, Omnitones, and singing trio Third Degree during his set.
Kit Chan sang much-loved 1998 National Day Parade theme song, Home.

The show also features the first Singapore Idol winner Taufik Batisah, who sang on NDP theme songs Reach Out For The Skies (2005) and Stronger Together (2022), and singer Natalie Ong, who made headlines as a 15-year-old contestant on the 2016 season of reality television show The X Factor Australia.

Marquee Singapore Majulah Gala
Yung Raja is one of the rappers performing at Marina Bay Sands club Marquee’s National Day-themed concert.

Marina Bay Sands nightclub Marquee’s National Day gig features three home-grown hip-hop heroes – bilingual rappers Alyph, Shigga Shay and Yung Raja.
Alyph is known for English and Malay tunes such as the 2022 viral hit Swipe, Obvious (2019) and Buat Selamanya (Forever, 2017).
Yung Raja, who raps in Tamil and English, is best known for tracks like Mustafa (2018) and Mad Blessings (2019), and was one of the acts behind 2019 NDP theme song Our Singapore.
Shigga Shay, who raps in English and Mandarin, recently made headlines as the first Singaporean to be a contestant on Chinese reality competition The Rap Of China. He was a composer and performer of 2023 NDP theme song Shine Your Light, and was also on the 2019 rendition of Our Singapore.
The show is open only to those 18 years old and above.
