LOS ANGELES - One of the most well-known and reclusive British comedians, Rowan Atkinson has been in the business of making people laugh since the 1970s.
He played the hapless and near-silent protagonist of international hit sitcom Mr Bean (1990 to 1995) and starred in period comedy Blackadder (1983 to 1989).
