Where Chou Live In Singapore

With her clear, emotional voice, Where Chou has comforted countless hearts. Billed as Mandopop’s Queen of Love Ballads, the Taiwanese singer-actress has performed works such as Promise (1999), I Don’t Want You To Know (1999) and I Want To Love You Well (2000).

Her latest single, released in April, is titled Dear Passerby and is a rumination on lost opportunities. She last performed here at Capitol Theatre in 2021.

This time, she is tackling the larger Sands Theatre. Her new concert promises to be a space where listeners can pause, reflect and reconnect with the emotions that often fade in the rush of everyday life.

Fans of South Korean girl group Mamamoo have had a field day of late. All four members – Solar, Moonbyul, Wheein and Hwasa – have either held performances here recently or will be taking the stage soon.

Leader Solar’s third solo concert tour will be making a stop here, just like her second tour did at Capitol Theatre in 2024. This time, however, she will hold court at the larger Arena @ Expo on Nov 22.

Among the South Korean singer’s works are the tongue-in-cheek Honey (2022) and Latin pop number Spit It Out (2020). In June 2025, she released her first Mandarin single, Floating Free, in collaboration with Taiwanese singer 9m88.

Solar has been studying Mandarin diligently and practising for three to four hours a day, so expect her to demonstrate her new proficiency in the language during the show.
