See You Again Gary Chaw Live In Singapore

It has been more than a decade since Gary Chaw last did a major show in Singapore. The Malaysian singer-songwriter’s Welcome To My World tour stopped here in 2008, and he also did a set during a Guinness Arthur’s Day Concert here in 2012.

Although he took the stage at the now-defunct Dragonfly nightclub at St James Power Station in 2012 and at a gala dinner in 2019, those were not big shows.

So, there is plenty of pent-up demand for this long-awaited concert, which will take fans on a musical journey through Chaw’s greatest hits, such as Superwoman (2005), The Only You In The World (2005) and Betrayal (2006).

Given that he put out an album of Cantonese cover songs – titled Crazy For…… Rock 40th Anniversary Best Cantopop Collections – in 2022, some might make his set list too.

After Riize’s 2024 fan con performance at the Singapore Expo, the South Korean boy band released their first studio album, Odyssey, in May 2025.

This album’s lead single, Fly Up, is an upbeat dance track inspired by 1950s rock ’n’ roll. Another noteworthy song, the hip-hop number Bag Bad Back, is about drawing boundaries to protect one’s dreams, and brims with attitude and swagger.

The work was nominated for Album of the Year at 2025’s Melon Music Awards and MAMA Awards, and it is this album that the K-pop group’s current Riizing Loud tour is in support of. It started in Seoul in July 2025 and has travelled to cities such as Taipei and Los Angeles.

Odyssey’s theme of fearlessly journeying together will be on full display, as performed by the sextet, consisting of members Shotaro, Eunseok, Sungchan, Wonbin, Sohee and Anton.

Where: Singapore Indoor Stadium, 2 Stadium Walk
MRT: Stadium
When: Jan 24, 7pm

American alternative folk band The Lumineers are known for their energetic live shows and Americana-inspired acoustic music. They last performed here at the open-air venue The Coliseum at Resorts World Sentosa in 2022, but are now going to tackle Fort Canning Green, an outdoor location.

The duo consist of Wesley Schultz on lead vocals and guitar, and Jeremiah Fraites, who plays the drums, percussion and piano. Among their most popular numbers is the folksy Ho Hey (2012), about going through a break-up. There is also Ophelia (2016), a haunting number inspired by William Shakespeare’s tragic play Hamlet.

Their tour is in support of Automatic (2025), the group’s fifth studio album, which explores some of the modern world’s absurdities, such as the increasingly blurred line between what is real and what is not, as well as the various ways people numb themselves in an attempt to fight both boredom and overstimulation.

MRT: Fort Canning
When: Jan 24, 8pm
