PETALING JAYA – Malaysian actor Fattah Amin has confirmed that he and Malaysian singer Amira Othman are set to wed on Sept 14, 2025, which also marks his 35th birthday.
The announcement was made on Sept 8 during the launch of Rasa & Takdir. The new single is by Amira, 31, and her brother, singer Irfan Haris, 23.
Fattah said: “Many must be wondering why I’m here. The truth is, Amira and I have some good news to share.”
“As everyone knows, we started out as colleagues, and after getting to know each other for some time, God willing, we’ll be changing our status from colleagues to housemates.”
The celebrity couple are extending an invitation to all Malaysians to be part of their special day.
Their wedding will be broadcast live on Sept 14 at 8pm via Malaysia’s Inspirasi channel.
“We would like to invite everyone to witness our wedding live, Setulus Takdir: Fattah Amira, exclusively on the Unifi TV 2.0 app,” said Fattah.
Amira added: “Don’t worry, everyone in Malaysia will be able to watch it for free.
“We are in the midst of preparation. We ask for everyone’s prayers so that everything will go smoothly.”
Besides the live coverage, viewers can catch a 10-episode documentary, Setulus Takdir: Fattah Amira, which premiered on Sept 8. The series charts the couple’s love story, from their first meeting to their wedding day.
This will be Fattah’s second marriage. He was married to Malaysian actress Nur Fazura, 41, between 2017 and 2024. They share a daughter who turns five in October. THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK
