SINGAPORE – A number of singers, including South Korea’s Rain and Hong Kong’s Ekin Cheng and Hins Cheung, are slated to take the stage at Grand Prix Season Singapore 2025.

The celebrities will appear during an event titled Jam Off 2025, happening at Resorts World Sentosa’s Universal Studios Singapore on Sept 27 and 28.

This comes a week before

the Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2025

at the Marina Bay Street Circuit from Oct 3 to 5, but the two events are not related.

The two-night Jam Off 2025 will feature adrenaline-charged performances from 7.30 to 10pm, and “standing zone” tickets are priced between $188 and $248 a day. Doors open at 7pm on both nights.

Day 1 will see a 30-minute opening DJ act at 7.30pm, followed by a 40-minute set by Hong Kong singer JC. At 8.40pm, Cheung will perform for 40 minutes, followed by Rain, who will also take the stage for 40 minutes.

Day 2 will feature another opening DJ act, this time lasting 40 minutes, together with a performance by five-piece Hong Kong band Nowhere Boys, starting at 7.30pm. At 8.10pm, Cheng will come on for 30 minutes, followed by Hong Kong singer Stephy Tang for 40 minutes. Rain will round up the night with a 40-minute set at 9.20pm.

The news was announced in social media posts on Aug 16 by Hong Kong entertainment and artiste management company Lam & Lamb Entertainment, which manages stars such as Cheng, Sandy Lamb, Jerry Lamb and Cantopop group Grasshopper.

According to the Visit Singapore website, the 10-day Grand Prix Season Singapore 2025 – from Sept 26 to Oct 5 – complements the Singapore Grand Prix with race-themed festivities that spotlight the city’s attractions, dining experiences, entertainment and retail scene.

Hong Kong band Nowhere boys will perform at Universal Studios Singapore on Sept 28.

Cheung performed at the Resorts World Ballroom in 2024 as part of his The Next 20 Hins Cheung Live Around The World concert tour. Cheng did a solo show at the Singapore Indoor Stadium in 2019. Rain last performed here during the Waterbomb Singapore 2024 music and water festival, but he will not be performing at 2025’s edition of the festival, slated for Aug 30 and 31.

Hong Kong’s Stephy Tang is among the singers expected to take the stage on Sept 28.
