K-pop girl group Momoland, which split up two years ago, are back together.

According to a report by South Korea’s Maeil Business Newspaper on April 10, the band’s six members – Hyebin, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin and Nancy, aged between 24 and 29 – have signed an exclusive contract with Inyeon Entertainment and will resume their group activities.

A source quoted by the newspaper said the Momoland members will continue to pursue their individual activities, such as acting and taking part in variety shows. They will only perform group activities under Inyeon Entertainment.

The source added that the girl group would be concentrating on activities and performances overseas rather than in South Korea for now.

Momoland were formed in 2016 through South Korean reality show Finding Momoland and made their debut with seven members: Hyebin, Yeonwoo, Jane, Nayun, JooE, Ahin and Nancy.

They released their debut EP, Welcome To Momoland, in November 2016. They became a nine-member group in 2017 when Daisy and Taeha joined the line-up.

The group are known for catchy songs such as Bboom Bboom (2018), Baam (2018) and Thumbs Up (2019).

Taeha and Yeonwoo left the group in 2019, while Daisy departed in 2020.

Momoland’s members

announced in February 2023 that they were going their separate ways

following the expiration of their contracts with their then agency MLD Entertainment.
