Hong Kong celebrity couple Bowie Cheung and Benjamin Yuen have officially welcomed their second child, a son.

The two TVB stars announced the happy news in a joint post on Instagram on Nov 6, accompanied by four photos – two featuring the pair cradling their newborn.

“We’ve been waiting so long for you. At first glance, you look just like your big brother. But upon a closer look, you’ve got so much hair, a small mouth and a sharp little chin. It seems like you’re mum and dad’s second variation,” Cheung, 34, wrote in Chinese.

The actress went on to thank her family and friends for their blessings and support.

She also extended her gratitude to the medical team at Hong Kong Adventist Hospital for its attentive care throughout her pregnancy, noting it was the same team who looked after her when she had her first child.

Yuen, 44, and Cheung’s older son Hayven will turn two on Nov 17.

“Mum and dad weren’t nervous. The whole pregnancy was filled with inexplicable joy. This whole day has been exciting and joyful. Welcome home, my son. Thank you for choosing our family,” Cheung wrote.

Cheung announced her second pregnancy on June 1, International Children’s Day. While she did not reveal how far along she was then, her baby bump was visible in the photos posted on social media.

Cheung and Yuen tied the knot in 2020. They met while filming the travel reality show All Work No Pay Holidays in 2017. THE STAR/ASIA NEWS NETWORK
