Singer Post Malone postpones Sept 25 National Stadium concert, Asian and Australasian tour

SINGAPORE – American singer-songwriter Post Malone has postponed his Asian and Australasian tour dates, which include a stop at the National Stadium on Sept 25.

The postponement of the Singapore show was announced on Ticketmaster’s website, as well as through an SMS and e-mail to fans, on Aug 27.

“We regret to announce that Post Malone Presents The Big A** Stadium Tour in Singapore scheduled for Sept 25, 2026, at National Stadium has been postponed,” read the notice, signed off by Ticketmaster Fan Support “on behalf of the event organiser” Live Nation.

“Fans who have purchased tickets from Ticketmaster will receive a full refund through the original payment method.

“It could take up to 60 business days for refunds to be processed. No further action is required from you.

“We apologise for any inconvenience caused. Thank you for your understanding.”

The postponement of the Australasian leg – which would have included stops in Melbourne, Brisbane, Sydney and Auckland, as well as performances at three Strummingbird 2026 festivals across Australia in October – was reported in the Australian and New Zealand press on Aug 27.

The Asian leg of the Big A** Stadium World Tour was scheduled to kick off on Sept 16 at Kai Tak Stadium, Hong Kong, and end at K-Arena Yokohama, Japan, on Oct 6.

It included dates in Thailand and South Korea. All have been postponed.

Online speculation in recent weeks had sparked fears among fans that the singer would be cancelling the Singapore show.

This happened after its status on Ticketmaster Singapore was earlier shown as “currently unavailable”.

The concert was announced on April 1, with ticket prices from $138 to $528. Pre-sales started on April 6, while general sales began on April 10.

Reddit users had also pointed out that American rapper Don Toliver, the support act for the Asian tour, is listed as a headliner on the second day of Camp Souled Out Dates, a US music festival in Waldorf, Maryland, on Sept 27.

The date clashes with Post Malone’s concert in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, which also lists Toliver as a performer.

The Big A** Stadium Tour, in support of Post Malone’s sixth studio album F-1 Trillion (2024), kicked off in Utah’s Salt Lake City, the US, on April 29, 2025.

Its first leg ended in London, Britain, on Sept 21 that year.

In May 2026, the artiste announced the cancellation of the first few weeks of the tour’s second leg from May 13 to June 5 in US cities ranging from El Paso to Oxford.

He cited scheduling conflicts and also said he wanted to finish work on an upcoming album before going on tour again.

The tour resumed on June 9 in Charlotte, North Carolina, in the US.

On the fan-run site Setlist.fm, Post Malone’s most recent concert is listed as Salt Lake City on July 28.

His National Stadium stop would have marked the music star’s first full-scale solo headline show in Singapore.

His previous performance in Singapore – his first here – was part of the 2023 Formula One Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix concerts at the Padang.

Post Malone, 31, has built a reputation for blending hip-hop, pop, rock and, more recently, country influences.

The Dallas-born artiste has scored six No. 1 hits on the US Billboard singles chart, including Rockstar (2017), Circles (2019) and Sunflower (2018), the latter being one of the most commercially successful singles of the streaming era.

F-1 Trillion, which leans into country music, debuted at No. 1 on the US Billboard albums chart, his third to top it.

Post Malone reportedly proposed to his girlfriend, stylist Christy Lee, in Utah on Aug 18.

The engagement comes more than a year after they were spotted in public together at a dinner in Rome, Italy.
