LOS ANGELES - Author Neil Gaiman's output is prodigious. His books, graphic novels, short stories, poetry, screenplays and works of non-fiction number in the hundreds, spanning fantasy, science fiction and horror, and often drawing on his deep knowledge of Greek and other ancient mythologies.
In recent years, more of his work has made it to the screen in what might be described as an expanding "Gaiman-verse" - often under the watchful eye of the author himself.
