Enhypen VR Concert: Immersion

60 minutes, GV Bugis+

This special virtual-reality (VR) concert received a big shout-out at the recent Enhypen World Tour Walk The Line In Singapore concert.

Towards the end of the concert on Oct 3, Jake, the boy band’s Korean-Australian vocalist, invited their fans to “meet them again” in cinemas.

Enhypen VR Concert: Immersion is the first VR concert from the popular K-pop group, whose members also include Ni-ki, Jungwon, Sunoo, Jay, Sunghoon and Heeseung.

Enhypen fans, or Engenes, who could not get tickets to watch the septet live now have a chance to see their idols up close.

A collaboration with VR concert platform company Amaze, Immersion takes fans through surreal sets – from an abandoned factory to rooftops – set to Enhypen’s eight tracks, including their 2024 hits like Bite Me, XO (Only If You Say Yes) and Highway 1009.

It will show at GV Bugis+ from Oct 9 to 22. Tickets are priced at $38 for Golden Village Movie Club members and $40 for non-members.

Each ticket comes with a photo card. The first 300 viewers will also receive a limited-edition Enhypen poster, official ticket (Oct 9 to 15) and a photocard holder (Oct 16 to 22).

Tickets are available via Golden Village’s website (

Alice In Borderland 3 (R21)

Netflix

Adapted from Haro Aso’s manga series, Netflix’s Alice In Borderland was a huge success when it was released in 2020, with Season 2 in 2022 setting records as the streamer’s most-watched Japanese title.

The dystopian thriller revolves around a group of players, led by protagonists Arisu (Kento Yamazaki) and Usagi (Tao Tsuchiya), who find themselves in a parallel world of Tokyo, where survival depends on winning intense death matches.

Season 3 picks up five years after the main events of Season 2, when Arisu and Usagi are forced to leave the real world and return to Borderland to compete in another series of brutal, high-stakes games.

Expect mind-blowing sequences and the surprise appearance of a Japanese veteran actor in this concluding chapter.

This six-part series has taken the No. 1 spot on Netflix’s Global Top 10 Non-English Shows list for two weeks since its premiere on Sept 25. Seasons 1 and 2 take the eighth and ninth spots respectively.
